Post World War II Home Makeover Before & After: Post-War homes were built in the 1940’s and 50’s. This home was 777 square feet and not large enough for the growing family. We completely renovated this home and added on about 1,300 square feet. This open floor plan addition included enlarging the kitchen, adding on the bedrooms, family room, and rear covered porch that’s opens off the family room.
